Steven Vaughn is a longtime student of the martial arts, having studied a couple other styles before joining Bendell Karate. Steven is also a longtime and respected patrol officer of the Pueblo Police Department. He is single and the loving father of a son and a daughter. Steven is a large man yet can kick over the heads of other black belts many times while sparring, which certainly gets their attention. He has a Bachelors degree from East Tennessee State Univesrity graduating with a double major in English and Psychology, and Mr. Vaughn has a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. He is Grandmaster Bendell's Chief Assistant with Shita Jujitsu and Judo, which he has had to apply occasionally in his work as a police officer. He has also been invaluable with our Sexual Assault Prevention clinics for women and girls.
